Dr. Ramon Brown pursued chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Valedictorian in the Doctor of Chiropractic program and accumulated an additional Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. She uses her knowledge of human anatomy, chiropractic medicine, nutritional advice and functional exercise to restore balance in the bodies and lives of her patients. Dr. Ramon Brown strongly encourages patients to become active participants in their healing process and empowers them with knowledge on how their bodies work. During her education in chiropractic school, Dr. Ramon Brown realized her interest in treating pregnant women and children, although she welcomes anybody to her practice that desires a higher level of wellness and health. She believes in a true multidisciplinary approach to treating pregnancy-related pain, discomfort and functional issues. She is certified in Webster technique and excited about incorporating this into her practice routine. Dr. Ramon Brown grew up on the small island of Ibiza in Spain before moving to Canada to pursue her studies. As such, she is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalonian. She was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and eventually began competing in open water swims. At age 14, she became the first woman to ever swim across the Ibiza-Formentera strait in the Balearic Islands (~20 km) off the East coast of Spain. Dr. Ramon Brown continues to love swimming and all other watersports. Additionally, she enjoys travelling, cooking, hiking and yoga. When not doing any of these, you may find her planning for her upcoming wedding next summer. Dr. Ramon Brown is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Please join us in welcoming her to our clinic!
