Congratulations Dr. Stacey Neilson! Our own Dr. Neilson placed 1st in her age group at the Cowichan Challenge Triathlon at Fuller Lake in Chemainus! This was for the full distance, main event, which was made up of a 1km swim, 34 km bike and 9 km run (over a super hilly trail we might add!). Dr. Neilson finished 38th out of 250 with a total time of 2 hrs 12 min and 00 sec. Amazing!
Additionally, Dr. Neilson placed 2nd in her age group and 39th overall (out of 170) and the sprint event in Qualicum Beach last month. Do we have a potential Iron Man competitor here?
